At times, we do things which we know are improper, either in our eyes or in the eyes of society, or sometimes, for some of us, we believe in the eyes of G-d.
So what should we do when we feel remorse about something which should not have done? What’s the point of vocalizing our thoughts of remorse to anyone, for that matter? Aren’t the thoughts and the feelings that are deep within us or within the deep recesses of our minds and the parts of our hearts revealed before us? We know what we’ve done. We know what it is.

What do you have and what makes what you have yours? Have you thought about that? And yours, meaning this is your spouse, this is your children, this is your home or your job, or your car, your clothes, your reputation, things that you have, and if the word ‘yours’ applies to these things, how did you come to possess these things or these ideas?

I recently read about Viktor Frankl. He was a psychiatrist and also an author, and he survived some terrible times during the German concentration time. He was in concentration camps himself, and he claimed that he found, in the concentration camp, his calling; and this is what he said. “Every person has his own specific vocation or mission in life, and everyone”, he said, “must carry out a concrete assignment that demands fulfillment.”

There’s a concept called the “positive principle”.
It was actually designed and developed by a foundation. This foundation found out that when a person focuses on positive, then positive developments occur. While a person looks at negativity and continuously shine their light on the negative aspect, then only negative things happen.
